APWH - BINDERS
GUIDELINES
Advance Placement World History BINDER Guidelines
(APWH maintains TWO binders, ONE is a 'Hard Copy' Binder, TWO is a E-Binder in TEAMS)
A. Each binder must have a “Tab System” which divides the notebook into 7 sections
B. Each tab section should focus on separating each section by 'Type of Assignment'.
SEVEN TAB SECTIONS ARE
i. Reading & Lecture Notes
ii. Station Work: Term Sheets - Crash Videos - Graphic Organizers
iii. World Geography: Quizzes & colored-labeled Maps
iv. Chapter Test and Unit Exams
v. Writing Assignments
vi. Socratic Circle & Research
vii. Projects
C. Papers and documents should be kept in reverse chronological order with the most recent being first.
D. Binders should be organized, neat, and easy to review and find specific information
E. Binders should be A.P. World specific and should have NO OTHER course work in it.
F. Binders should have a front cover which includes title, student name, class period.
(ON THE SPINE AS WELL)
G. NOTEBOOKS WILL BE GRADED AT THE END OF EACH MONTH FOR FOR A UNIT TEST GRADE.
